I found a picture that was taken back when we were supposed to be studying for Micros last semester (and we ended up playing video games and watching lion king as well as posing for Meri and her camera I guess).

There was a picture in which we were laying down on our stomachs.

I don’t know what’s causing the quick crash on the program, but I think it’s due to a limiter on the size the application can use.

Why is programming life so hard you guys?

My brother lets her get away with everything, while my dad gets furiously annoyed whenever she does something wrong.

I think my best bet is to keep pushing my mom to call in the trainer. We need to be taught just as much as my dog does and it seems like the best option. 

That’s probably the best of ideas, as well as making sure all your family is in agreement as to what is bad behaviour, what is good behaviour, and how punishment and treats should be carried out.

Something I worry about, what with wanting so many pets, is that I may not train them properly.

My yorkie is a sweet heart, but she has her problems. She’ll growl and bark at noises (vacuum, people approaching the door, random sounds that startle her) and she’ll growl aggressively if she’s so much as nudged while sleeping. She also basically hates other dogs and will snap at them if they get too close.

I guess I’ll just have to do a lot of research on training and socialization before I get another dog. I know I’m persistent enough to train a dog, but other members of my family are either too lenient or too harsh.

Often enough, what ruins your effort to train a dog is the rest of the family members, as a lot of people have different ideas on how to train the dog, and what one should do with a dog. Most often, it is dealt with in the wrong way, resulting in a violent, nervous wreck (mostly in the case of little dogs).

No socializing is part of the issues with other dogs, but with time and proper dogs she could learn from, she’ll be fine. Dogs can still learn to be social when they are older, it’s just harder and takes a lot of repetition.

For the rest, well, she was probably introduced to vvacuums in the wrong way, and therefore reacts to them like that. Reacting to people arriving by barking is common for most breeds, especially since it means they are doing ‘sentry duty’, so it’s quite alright for them to do so.

Being nudged too much is a personal thing of hers, I doubt she’ll grow out of it.
